Fried Ice Cream - Delicious Dessert Recipe
Fried ice cream is a surprising and indulgent dessert, known for the contrast between its warm, crispy exterior and its cold, creamy interior. With a unique combination of textures and temperatures, it's a fun and memorable option, perfect for ending a meal in an original way.
Ingredients
4 scoops of ice cream (flavor of your choice)
150g cornflakes
50g wheat flour
2 beaten eggs
Vegetable oil as needed (for frying)
Liquid caramel as needed
Preparation
Prepare 4 firm scoops of ice cream.
Roll each scoop of ice cream in previously crushed cornflakes.
Wrap each scoop in cling film and freeze for 1 hour. Remove the cling film.
Roll each scoop in wheat flour. Then, dip in beaten egg.
Roll again in crushed cornflakes, pressing lightly to ensure good adhesion.
Return to the freezer for at least 1 hour to ensure the coating is firm.
Heat plenty of oil in a frying pan or deep fryer.
Fry each scoop of ice cream for just a few seconds, until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
Remove immediately and drain quickly on paper towels.
Serve the fried ice cream immediately. Garnish with liquid caramel.
