Delicious Recipe for Stuffed Peppers with Crab (Easy)
Ingredients
200g bread crumbs
300ml whole milk
100ml cream
2 eggs
Piri-Piri to taste
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon mustard powder
Salt
Breadcrumbs for sprinkling
Preparation
1. Soak 200g bread crumbs in 300ml whole milk and 100ml cream.
2. In a frying pan with 3 to 4 tablespoons of olive oil, sauté 3 chopped shallots. Add a little salt.
3. Beat 2 eggs in a large bowl and set aside.
4. When the shallots are golden brown, add the meat from 1 cooked crab, 1 teaspoon of mustard powder, a mixture of peppers and piri-piri to taste.
5. Add the soaked bread crumbs and adjust the seasoning. Add the beaten eggs, remove from the heat and set aside.
6. Cut the peppers into ¾ pieces and remove any seeds and veins.
7. Chop 5g of parsley and add to the mixture.
8. Stuff the peppers with the crab mixture, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC for 30 minutes until golden brown.
