 Tuna skewers with fried corn


This typical Madeiran dish consists of a meat skewer (often beef or tuna) grilled on a laurel stick. It is accompanied by fried corn, made from cooked cornmeal that is then fried in cubes. It is traditionally served with bolo do caco, a typical regional bread, with garlic and parsley butter.
