Sautéed Shrimp with Chimichurri Sauce 👨🍳
A shrimp recipe always tastes good. And this one, sautéed shrimp with chimichurri sauce, is not only easy but also ideal for surprising your guests. Try it!
Ingredients:
1 tsp (+ 1 tsp) salt
1 loaf of sliced Rio Maior bread
1 kg 20/30 Vannamei shrimp
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
For the shrimp:
100 ml extra virgin olive oil
1 pinch pepper
For the sauce:
1 pinch oregano
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 lemon (zest and juice)
1 lemon Red chili pepper, seeded
4 cloves
garlic
4 sprigs
parsley
½ bunch (25 g) cilantro
Preparation
Start by preparing the sauce. Chop the cilantro, parsley, garlic, and chili pepper. Place everything in a bowl.
Add the lemon zest and juice, vinegar, oregano, a teaspoon of salt, and pepper.
Add the olive oil, stirring continuously until you obtain a smooth sauce. Set aside.
For the shrimp, heat the olive oil and butter in a frying pan. Add the crushed garlic and shrimp.
Cook for about 3 minutes, stirring so that they are evenly pink and golden. Season with the remaining salt and pepper.
Serve the shrimp with the prepared sauce and toasted bread.
