Pork or Beef Steak with Cream and Mushrooms

Pork or Beef Steak with Cream and Mushrooms

Ingredients

1.5 kg pork or beef steak

2 packages of cream

2 cans of mushrooms

1 head of garlic

pepper to taste

coarse salt to taste

fine salt to taste

bay leaves to taste

butter or margarine

Preparation

Cut the steaks into small steaks, using the crushed garlic cloves, coarse salt, bay leaves, and pepper.

Melt the butter (approximately 2 heaping tablespoons) in a frying pan without letting it burn. Fry the steaks in the butter until the blood evaporates, then transfer them to a saucepan.

Then fry the mushrooms in the remaining sauce (melt another tablespoon of butter if necessary) and when they are golden brown, add the cream with ketchup and stir until the cream is cooked and browned. At this point, baste the steaks with the cream and mushroom sauce in the casserole dish.

Serve with white rice and/or French fries.
