Loaded Party Nachos Recipe
This recipe is perfect for sharing and brings together crunchy chips with melted cheese and fresh, vibrant toppings.
Ingredients
1 large bag of stunned potato chips (about 12 ounces). 2 cups of shredded cheese (a mixture of sharp Cheddar and Monterey Jack are best for melting). 1/2 cup of black olives, sliced. 1/4 cup of jalapeños, fresh or peeled and sliced. 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup of yellow or green bell pepper, finely diced. Optional: 1 lb ground beef or chicken seasoned with taco spices for a heartier version.
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).Layer the Chips: On a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, spread an even layer of tortilla chips.Add Toppings: Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the chips. Add your meat (if using), followed by the olives, jalapeños, and bell peppers. Top with the remaining cheese. Bake: Place in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling. Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and immediately add the diced tomatoes. Serve while hot with sides of sour cream, guacamole, or salsa.
