 Bacon and Fried Egg Toast Recipe


These bacon and fried egg toasts are a great new recipe to try at home. Delicious and easy to prepare, they will perfectly complement a brunch. Try them!


Ingredients


4 slices of whole wheat bread with crust

1 clove of garlic

Olive oil to taste


8 slices of Continente Edam cheese with tomato and basil

150g of Paris mushrooms

Chives to taste

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

8 slices of bacon

4 eggs




Preparation


Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet and rub them with the peeled garlic clove. Drizzle with olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC for about 10 minutes. In the last 2 minutes, cover them with cheese and let it melt slightly.


Pour a drizzle of olive oil into a frying pan, add the sliced ​​mushrooms, sprinkle with chopped chives, and season with salt and pepper. Sauté until the mushrooms are soft and have released their water. Remove and set aside.


In the same pan, fry the bacon until golden brown and crispy. Remove and, without draining the fat, fry the eggs.


Assemble the freshly baked toasts with a layer of mushrooms, two overlapping slices of bacon, and an egg.
