Transform a can of sardines into a restaurant-worthy pâté (simple, cheap, and ready in 5 minutes)

Ingredients:

2 tbsp mayonnaise

½ tsp mustard

30g pickles

1 can of sardines (140g)

¼ red onion

1 tomato

2 tbsp olive oil

Lemon juice (drops)

Salt

Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Preparation:

Chop the onion, tomato, and pickles into small cubes. Set aside. Drain the liquid from the can of sardines and mash with a fork. Set aside.

In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and olive oil. Mix lightly with a fork until smooth.

Add the two reserved portions and mix with a fork as well.

Add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce (optional). Season with salt to taste. Mix again.

As a casual appetizer, simply place in a smaller bowl and serve with toast. As a starter, place the ring mold on the plate and put the pâté inside. Press down with a spoon, for example, and remove the ring mold.

It's ready!
