1 container of natural yogurt (200g – use the container as a measure for everything!)

2 containers of sugar

3 containers of wheat flour

1 container of oil (or olive oil, for a healthier touch)

3 eggs

1 tablespoon of baking powder

Pinch of salt (optional, to enhance the flavor)

Vanilla essence or lemon zest (to flavor, if desired)


Preparation Method





(step-by-step, no complications):


Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a round cake pan (20-22 cm) with butter and flour.


Mix the wet ingredients:


In a blender or large bowl, beat the eggs, yogurt, oil, and sugar until creamy and smooth (about 2 minutes).


Add the dry ingredients:


Sift the flour gradually into the mixture, stirring gently with a spatula or whisk. Don't overmix to avoid losing the fluffiness!


Finish with baking powder:


Add the baking powder and salt (and vanilla if using). Stir only until incorporated.


Bake: Pour into the pan and bake for 30-40 minutes. Test with a toothpick: if it comes out clean, it's ready! Let it cool before unmolding.
