Irresistible Tuna Salad Sandwich: The King of Quick Snacks!


Ingredients


(for 2 sandwiches):


1 can of tuna in oil or water (drained, about 120g)

3 tablespoons of mayonnaise (or natural yogurt for a lighter version)

1 stalk of celery, finely chopped (for crunch!)

1/4 of a red onion, finely chopped

1 teaspoon of mustard (gives a spicy touch)

Salt, black pepper and juice of half a lemon to taste

4 slices of bread (whole wheat or white, toasted for extra flavor)

Lettuce leaves, sliced ​​tomato and cucumber (optional, for assembly)





Preparation:


In a bowl, mash the drained tuna with a fork.


Mix in the mayonnaise, celery, onion, mustard, lemon, salt and pepper. Taste and adjust – it should be creamy and flavorful!


Lightly toast the bread slices (in a toaster or frying pan).


Assemble: bread + lettuce + a generous layer of tuna salad + tomato and cucumber + another slice of bread. Press down to stick everything together.


Cut in half and devour! Perfect for lunch, a snack, or a picnic.


Golden tip: Add pickles or olives for an extra boost. Makes 2 servings and is guaranteed to be a hit!
