Steak with Shrimp and French Fries: Recipe
Ingredients
(Serves 2)
: 2 steaks (e.g., filet mignon or sirloin)
200g shrimp, cleaned
4 large potatoes
2 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley (optional)
Oil for frying the potatoes
Preparation: Potatoes
Fries: Peel the potatoes and cut into sticks.
Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the potatoes until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels, season with salt, and set aside.
Steak:
Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and half the garlic.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet and grill the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side (adjust to desired doneness). Set aside.
Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add the butter and remaining olive oil.
Sauté the remaining garlic, add the shrimp, and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink.
Assembly:
Serve the steaks on a plate, top with the shrimp, and serve with the fries.
Garnish with parsley, if desired.
