Simple Lemon Cake Recipe ๐๐
Ingredients
: 3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
Juice of 2 lemons (about 1/3 cup)
Zest of 1 lemon (optional, for more flavor)
1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt
Topping (optional):
1 cup powdered sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 8-inch (20 cm) cake pan with butter and flour.
In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the oil, lemon juice, and zest (if using), mixing well.
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt and gradually add them to the liquid mixture, stirring gently until smooth.
Pour the batter into the pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool before unmolding.
