Savoy Palace ushers in 2026 with the sparkle of a 'Diamond Night'
This year, the Savoy Palace will welcome the new year with a sparkling celebration that promises to make the nights of December 30th and 31st shine like a 'Diamond Night,' the theme chosen to usher in 2026.
During these two evenings, the hotel's various spaces become party stages, each with its own narrative, combining cuisine with performances.
The Grand Ballroom, Galáxia Skyfood, and Galáxia Skybar each have their own narrative, offering everyone in attendance unique moments of celebration, always accompanied by excellent cuisine and breathtaking performances.
The celebration begins on December 30th with the "Shine Bright Like a Diamond" gala in the imposing Grand Ballroom. After the traditional welcome cocktail, a gala buffet dinner enlivened by the Glamorous Vendetta Band and the Diamonds Dance Show, performed by the British band Scarlett Dolls, follows. The evening culminates with a vibrant dance floor, with DJ Oxy joining the dancers, leading the party until dawn.
New Year's Eve "Extravaganza"
On New Year's Eve, the Savoy Palace dresses up for the Extravaganza celebration, also in the Grand Ballroom, which includes a gala dinner, performances by the Glamorous Vendetta Band, and other performances. One of the highlights will inevitably be the fireworks display over Funchal Bay, enjoyed in all its splendor from the hotel's rooftop.
At Galáxia Skyfood, the Crystal Clear party offers a luxurious dinner among the stars, accompanied by the sounds of D'Gems, with access to the VIP deck of Galáxia Skybar, where the Atlantic views provide the perfect setting to toast 2026.
Galáxia Skybar hosts the Shining Light party, which offers a 360º perspective of the fireworks display, accompanied by music, dinner, and an open bar until dawn.
Tradition with sophistication
At Terreiro restaurant, the celebration takes on a more intimate tone, with a dinner inspired by Portuguese cuisine, combining comfort and tradition with the sophistication of the Savoy Signature experience. The evening also culminates with the Galáxia Skybar party.
New Year's Brunch
To extend the celebration, the Orchidaceae restaurant hosts a festive brunch on January 1st, featuring a diverse buffet, live cooking stations, the iconic Bloody Mary Station, and live music, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
