 Pastel de Nata Pie Recipe


Ingredients


1 puff pastry base

5 eggs

5 tablespoons flour

5 tablespoons sugar

1/2 liter milk

1 cinnamon stick

Zest of one lemon or vanilla extract (depending on your favorite flavor)




Preparation


Grease a springform pan with margarine and add the puff pastry.

In a saucepan, pour the egg yolks, sugar, flour, lemon zest (or extract), and milk, stirring constantly. Finally, add the cinnamon stick and cook over low heat until thickened.

Pour the mixture into the pan and bake until the pastry is cooked through (about 30 minutes at 180°C). Then turn on the oven and let it toast like a pastel de nata. Let it cool slightly before unmolding. Enjoy!
