Margarita Pizza with Fluffy Homemade Dough Recipe
Ingredients
For the dough:
200 ml water
30 ml olive oil
280 g all-purpose flour
3 g bread yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
For the topping:
fresh mozzarella
tomato sauce
Fresh basil
oregano
Preparation
Pour the flour and water into a bowl and mix with your hands until it forms a ball.
Let the dough rest in the bowl for 20 minutes, then cover with a cloth.
After 20 minutes, transfer the ball to another bowl with salt, yeast, and olive oil.
Knead thoroughly for 10 minutes.
* If you have a food processor, use the hook attachment (it mimics hand movements).
* If you don't have a food processor, be patient and have some arm strength!
After 10 minutes, transfer the dough to another bowl. Brush with olive oil and place the dough in the oven.
Cover with a damp cloth and let it double in size.
Once the dough is ready (it has volume), place it on a table or work surface.
Brush your hands with olive oil and knead lightly to degas the dough (remove the air).
When finished, form a ball and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Stretch the dough with the back of your hands and fingers until it forms the diameter of a pizza.
Spread with tomato sauce,
+ mozzarella, + basil, and sprinkle with oregano.
Bake for 10-15 minutes at 210°C, until golden brown.
