European golf leaders gather on Madeira Island to discuss the future of the industry
From November 10th to 12th, 2025, Madeira Island will host the Golf Business Conference – Driving Change, the leading European event dedicated to golf course management, bringing together approximately 250 professionals and international industry leaders.
Organized by GCAE – Golf Course Association Europe and the National Golf Industry Council (CNIG), with the support of the Madeira Islands and Turismo de Portugal, the conference will focus on solutions to ensure the sustainability, relevance, and profitability of golf in a rapidly changing environment.
Over three days, topics such as the profile of the new generation of golfers, customer loyalty, global trends, the impact of golf on health and well-being, and the R&A's vision for the future will be discussed as part of the Golf Course 2030 initiative.
