Another earthquake recorded at 4:18 a.m. on Madeira Island

Following the magnitude 4.0 earthquake recorded yesterday in the Desertas Islands area, the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) recorded another earthquake this morning.

The epicenter of the quake was located at a depth of 10 km and, this time, measured magnitude 1.4, was recorded southeast of Desertas.

It is worth noting that last night's earthquake was felt most intensely by residents living in the eastern part of Madeira Island.
