Steak in a pan
Ingredients
1 kg of beef, cut into thick slices
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves of garlic, crushed
5 tablespoons of oil
3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
Oregano to taste
Salt and black pepper to taste
Preparation
Gather all the ingredients;
In a bowl, season the steaks with salt, pepper, vinegar and garlic. Mix;
In a pan, over high heat, heat 3 tablespoons of oil and, when very hot, sear the meat. As you sear the steaks, set them aside;
When the last pieces are seared, lower the heat and add the oregano, half of the bell pepper, half of the tomato and half of the onion;
Cover with another layer of steak and repeat the previous step;
Add a little hot water, cover the pan and let it cook until the water has almost dried up or until the meat is tender (if the water has dried up and the meat is still tough, add a little more water and let it cook a little longer);
It's ready! Serve and enjoy.
