How to make easy and perfect red fruit coulis
Ingredients
280 g frozen red fruit
20 g sugar
80 ml water
½ lemon
Preparation
Remove the frozen fruit from the freezer and leave at room temperature for about 15 minutes. Make the sugar syrup: In a small saucepan, add water and sugar. Bring to a boil. Meanwhile, make the lemon juice.
In a blender, add the red fruit, sugar syrup and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Using a fine sieve, strain the mixture.
The coulis should be smooth or slightly rustic.
Then place in an airtight container to store in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
