Ham and cheese stuffed bread Recipe


INGREDIENTS


Dough:

3 eggs

500 g wheat flour

2 tablespoons margarine

1 cup warm milk

1 dessert spoon sugar

1 sachet dry yeast for bread

salt to taste

1 egg yolk for brushing

Filling:

300 g ham

300 g mozzarella

1 chopped onion

3 chopped tomatoes

Salt and oregano to taste






PREPARATION METHOD


Dough:

Put the warm milk, sugar and yeast in a bowl and let it sit until it rises.

Add the flour, eggs and margarine and mix well.

Place the dough on a floured surface and knead well until smooth.

Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Filling:

Sauté the onion and tomato.

Then add the salt and oregano and let it cool. 2

Assembly:

Roll out the dough and pour the filling on top.

Cover with cheese and ham and roll up like a Swiss roll.

Brush with egg yolk.

Place the breads in a greased pan and bake in a medium oven for 20 minutes.
