 Seafood cream


Ingredients


Shells of about 250 g of shrimp

1.5 dl of olive oil

1 medium onion

2 cloves of garlic

2 tablespoons tomato paste

2 tablespoons flour

1 l of water

Salt, pepper and chili powder to taste.

Toasted bread cubes q.s.




Preparation


In a pan, sauté the chopped onion and garlic in olive oil. Once the onion becomes translucent, add the tomato pulp and shrimp shells.

Let it boil until the skins turn bright red. Then add the flour, water and season with salt, pepper and piri-piri. Let it boil a little longer to absorb the flavor.

Pour the mixture into the blender and blend very well. Strain back into the pan.

Serve garnished with toasted bread cubes and a few parsley leaves.
