Portuguese Red Bean and Kale Soup Recipe
Ingredients
1 can of cooked red beans
2 carrots
2 potatoes
1 small turnip
Portuguese cabbage q.s.
1 chicken broth
oil
1/2 onion
2 cloves of garlic
Preparation
Cut the carrot, potatoes, turnip, onion and garlic cloves, half of the can of beans and add the olive oil and chicken stock and let it sauté a little. Add water and salt and let it cook.
Once the vegetables are cooked, blend everything.
Then cut the cabbage into thick julienne strips and add to the vegetable cream.
When the cabbage is cooked, add the remaining beans and adjust the seasoning.
