 Confit tomatoes in the air fryer Recipe


Confit tomatoes are an excellent accompaniment to meat, chicken, salads and can also be used to make pastes. It is usually baked in the oven, but thanks to the Air Fryer, the cooking time has been reduced, which leaves us with free time for other preparations.


Ingredients


150 g cherry tomatoes

3 col. soup olive oil (+-)

10 g sugar (+-)

salt to taste

pepper to taste

oregano to taste





Preparation


Wash the cherry tomatoes and dry them. Cut them in half lengthwise.


Place them in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, oregano and sugar. Mix well.


Line the Air Fryer basket with parchment paper. Then place the cherry tomatoes cut side up and sprinkle a little more sugar over the top.


Program for 20 minutes at 160°C. Then another 5 minutes at 200°C
