Red pepper paste
Do you have toast or bread at home and are still thinking about a side dish? Want a super easy and different tip? Red pepper paste. Roast it, blend it and it's ready. Practical and healthy
Ingredients
3 red peppers
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt
pepper
Preparation
Wash the peppers and cut them in half. Remove the seeds and place them on a baking tray already covered with greaseproof paper (parchment paper). Note: the inside of the peppers should be facing down. Place them in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 210°C.
Once they are roasted, place the two halves (still hot) in a freezer bag. Let them cool. Open the bag and remove the skins from the peppers (this is the best technique).
Then place the peeled peppers in the blender. Blend with 1 clove of garlic and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Note: Blend until creamy. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.
Leave it in the fridge until ready to serve. Enjoy!
