Potato gratin with cheese
Potato gratin with cheese and ham is that dish that everyone knows but everyone asks for the recipe. That's because everyone has a different way of preparing it and it's true that we like new things even if it's with the key ingredients of everyday life. In this new version of gratin, we changed the arrangement of the food (they are vertical) and used that Swiss raclette cheese that everyone loves (but of course, use any cheese you have at home, as long as it melts easily).
Ingredients
kg of potatoes
1 tsp. salt
400 g of cheese (raclette)
7 slices of bacon (or ham)
2 tbsp. cream (sour cream)
Preparation
Peel and thinly slice the potatoes. Then, place them in a pot with boiling water and salt to cook for 30 minutes. Drain and let cool.
Cut the bacon slices in two. Brush the bottom of the baking dish with the cream.
Assembly time: Place some potato slices vertically lengthwise. Make a line with some bacon slices and then some potato slices again.
Add a line of cheese right after the potatoes and continue assembling until the end (potato/bacon/potato/cheese).
Bake in a preheated oven at 210°C for 15 minutes.
It's ready!
