Pasta with olive sauce: economical, tasty and easy to prepare!
Ingredients
190 g pasta (we used fusilli)
50 g pitted black olives (about 18)
300 ml chopped tomato pulp (or tomato puree)
onion to taste
olive oil to taste
salt to taste
Preparation
First, slice the black olives.
Fry the finely chopped onion in a frying pan with olive oil, then add the olives and let them fry for a few minutes.
Add the chopped tomato pulp, a pinch of salt and cook for about 15 minutes with the pan covered. Stir occasionally. (If necessary, add a little of the cooking water to the pasta).
In the meantime, cook the pasta in plenty of salted water.
When the pasta is cooked al dente, drain it and transfer it to the frying pan with the olive sauce.
Stir the pasta quickly until the olive sauce is well mixed.
The fusilli with olive sauce is ready. If you like, you can add a drizzle of olive oil before serving.
