Feijoada a Portuguesa Recipe
A beautiful Portuguese recipe with black pork meat that gives a very warm flavor to this feijoada!
Ingredients
1 Can of Butter Beans
1/2 Black Pork Sausage
5 Slices of Bacon (or Fatty Black Pork Bacon)
1/2 Beef Heart Cabbage
Black Pork Tenderloin
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
1 Chopped Onion
1 Garlic Clove (Chopped)
1 Bay Leaf
Salt
Pepper (to season)
Preparation
Cook the meats in a pan with boiling water until tender
Sauté the olive oil, onion, bay leaf and finally the garlic
Add a few ladles of the meat stock and let it boil, adding the sliced cabbage
Add the beans and let it simmer for a few minutes, adding more stock if necessary
Turn off the heat and add the meats and sausage cut into slices and serve!
