Easy Fish Gratin Recipe
Gratins are delicious and easy to prepare dishes. Our recipe is explained step by step and with a video. Which fish can I use? The one of your preference. This dish can be an occasion for your child to eat fish, after all, it is healthy and light ;-) And with a touch of bechamel and cheese, it is even better. It is also a waste-free recipe because you can use leftover potatoes or other vegetables.
Ingredients
600 g of white fish (hake, tilapia, hake)
500 g of potatoes
200 g of mushrooms (parisian mushrooms)
35 g of wheat flour
35 g of butter (margarine)
500 ml of milk
70 g of grated cheese
salt
pepper
nutmeg
Preparation
Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes. Cook them for 10 minutes in boiling water.
Grease the pan and pour/pour the cooked potatoes into it. Place the fish cut into large pieces on top of the potatoes. Finally, place the washed and sliced mushrooms on top of the fish.
Preparing the béchamel: in a saucepan, melt the butter and pour in the flour all at once. Mix with a whisk.
Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly. The sauce should thicken. Add a pinch of salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Pour the béchamel into the pan over the entire surface. Finally, sprinkle with the grated cheese.
Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 180°C.
The fish gratin is ready to be served.
