Biscuit cake
Ingredients
2 packets of Maria biscuits
250 g of softened butter
250 g of sugar
3 egg yolks
200 ml of coffee
1 dessert spoon of sugar (for the coffee - optional)
Preparation
Beat the butter for 5 minutes. Add the sugar and beat for another 5 minutes. Finally add the egg yolks and beat again for 5 minutes. Set aside.
Add the spoonful of sugar to the coffee (this is optional). Quickly dip a biscuit in it and arrange it on a large shallow plate. Do not soak the biscuits in the coffee for too long; the goal is not for them to be soft but for them to taste like coffee.
One by one, arrange the biscuits in a flower shape.
Spread the reserved buttercream in a thin layer.
Make layers of biscuits dipped in coffee and buttercream until you only have 5 biscuits left.
Finish with a layer of buttercream. Crush the 5 cookies you saved and decorate the cake.
Place in the fridge for a few hours and serve.
