Beef stew
Ingredients
200g of diced beef
1 onion
2 tablespoons of tomato
1 bay leaf
2 cloves
1 sprig of parsley
1 carrot
1/2 glass of white wine
1 glass of water
olive oil
wheat flour
salt
pepper
Preparation
Chop the onion and sauté it in a dash of olive oil together with the bay leaf.
Dip the meat in flour and when the onion is golden add it and let it sauté a little.
Add the sliced carrot, the cloves, the tomato, the wine and the water, season with salt and pepper and let the meat cook until tender.
When the meat is cooked remove it from the sauce as well as some carrot slices.
Remove the cloves and bay leaf from the sauce and blend it with a hand blender.
Add the meat and carrots back to the sauce and bring to the boil before serving.
