 Stuffed Tomatoes


Ingredients


6 tomatoes (nice)

500 g of fresh sausage meat (sausage or ground beef)

1 onion

1 clove of garlic

1 tablespoon of rice

salt

pepper

parsley





Preparation


Step 1 - Cut the top off the tomatoes and clean out the inside (remove the core and seeds). Set the tomato tops aside. Place the tomatoes in a previously greased baking dish (which can go in the oven).


Step 2 - Finely chop the onion, garlic clove and parsley (we used a food processor).


Step 3 - Pour this mixture into a bowl. Also add the fresh sausage meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.


Step 4 - Place a little uncooked rice in the bottom of each tomato (the rice will absorb the moisture from the tomatoes).


Step 5 - Stuff each tomato with the seasoned meat.


Step 6 - Finish by placing the tomato caps on top. Bake for 45 minutes at 180°C.

Step 7 - Your stuffed tomatoes are ready!!
