 Dark Beer Bread


Ingredients


2 1/2 cups plain wheat flour

1/2 cup corn flour

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

33cl dark beer

3 tbsp honey

4 tbsp melted salted butter

1/2 cup walnuts

1/2 cup shelled pistachios

1/2 cup cranberries





Preparation


1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

2. In a bowl, add the dry ingredients: plain wheat flour, corn flour, brown sugar, fine salt and baking powder. Mix everything together.

3. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and add the dark beer.

4. Add the honey and mix well.

5. Add the dried fruits and mix again until smooth.

6. Place 2 tablespoons of melted butter in the bottom of a rectangular pan (like a pound cake) and brush it all over.

7. Pour the batter into the pan and drizzle with the remaining melted butter.

8. Bake in a preheated oven for 45 to 55 minutes.
