Cream cheese and walnut pie
Ingredients
For the base
phyllo dough
12 sheet
butter
150 g
walnut kernels
300 g
honey
3 c. of soup
powdered sugar
50 g
cinnamon powder
q.b.
For the cream
cream cheese
400 g
cream
200ml
egg M
2 pcs.
powdered sugar
180g
lemon (zest)
1 pc.
flour
25 g
vanilla essence
1 c. of tea
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Step 2
Brush the filo pastry sheets with butter and line a springform pan measuring approximately 18 to 20 cm in diameter.
Step 3
Mix the chopped walnut kernels, honey, sugar, cinnamon and remaining butter in a bowl. Pour the mixture into the pan over the filo dough, reserving three tablespoons.
Step 4
For the cream, mix the cream cheese with the cream, eggs, sugar, lemon zest, flour and vanilla essence in a bowl.
Step 5
Pour the cream over the nut mixture and bake for 45 minutes.
Step 6
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the reserved nut mixture. Let it cool before serving.
