Recipe for Roasted Filet Mignon with Potatoes
Ingredients
800 g baby potatoes
1 clove of garlic
olive oil
salt
pepper
2 sprigs of rosemary (fresh)
10 g butter
1 filet mignon
100 ml vegetable stock (or 100 ml water + 1 stock cube)
Preparation
Step 1 - Melt the butter in the frying pan. Season the filet mignon and then brown it for about 2 minutes on each side. Set aside.
Step 2 - Cut the baby potatoes in half and place them in a Pyrex dish. Drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Add the crushed garlic and mix.
Step 3 - Place the filet in the center and drizzle with olive oil. Add the rosemary sprigs.
Step 4 - Before turning on the oven, place a small jar (glass, for example) with water at the bottom (this helps to prevent it from drying out). Preheat the oven to 190°C. Then place the Pyrex dish in the oven and cook for 45 minutes. While cooking, gradually add the broth.
Step 5 - Enjoy!
