KITKAT Mousse Recipe
Ingredients
10 KITKAT units
800 ml Long Life Cream
8 egg yolks
100 g sugar
170 g 70% Dark Chocolate
170 g Milk Chocolate
Preparation
Crush the KITKAT until you get small pieces. Set aside.
In a bowl, beat 700 ml of cream until you get firm whipped cream. Set aside in the fridge.
Place a saucepan over low heat with the egg yolks, sugar and remaining cream. Let it heat slightly until the mixture thickens.
Add the chocolates and stir until they start to melt and everything is well mixed. Set aside and let it cool.
Once it is cold, fold in the whipped cream that was set aside. Mix gently until you get a mousse. Add some of the crushed KITKAT and mix again. Place some more crushed KITKAT in the bottom of the bowl or serving glasses. Then place the mousse on top and decorate with more KITKAT.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
