Delicious Homemade Pizza with Egg
Ingredients
Pizza dough: -
500 g of unleavened wheat flour
25 g of fresh baker's yeast
250 ml of warm water
6 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt to taste
Tomato sauce:
Calculate, for each tomato, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, a pinch of sugar, 2 basil leaves and salt to taste.
That said, just make the amount of tomato sauce you will need and that you can perfectly store in the fridge.
To assemble the pizza:
Buffalo mozzarella to taste
Prosciutto to taste
Paris mushrooms to taste
1 egg
Basil to taste
Preparation
1. Pizza dough: Start by placing the flour mixed with the salt in a deep bowl or basin.
2. Dissolve the yeast in the water and make a well in the center of the flour to pour in the mixture. Add the olive oil and start kneading until the dough is smooth and comes away from your hands easily. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes without stopping.
3. Sprinkle another bowl with flour and place the dough in it to rest. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 2 hours. When using the dough, remember to flour the counter where you will roll it out very well.
4. Tomato sauce: Peel the tomato and cut it into small pieces.
5. Peel the garlic and chop it.
6. Pour the olive oil and garlic into a pan and brown. Then add the tomato, salt, sugar and basil.
7. Cover the pan and cook over a very low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 8. The tomato will be almost completely dissolved; however, if you wish, you can blend it all with a hand blender.
9. Assembling the pizza: Roll out the dough on a floured surface with a rolling pin.
10. Cover with tomato sauce and start assembling the pizza.
11. Add fresh mozzarella, then ham, sliced mushrooms, a little more fresh mozzarella and finish with an egg in the center and some basil leaves.
12. Bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC for about 20 minutes.
