Delicious Carrot Pie Recipe
Ingredients
800 g water
450 g peeled carrots
5 eggs
400 g sugar + sugar to sprinkle
Zest of 1 orange
125 g flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
1.
Put the water in the glass and the carrots cut into pieces in the basket. Insert the basket in the glass and set 30 minutes on the Steam Function.

Preheat the oven to 200 ºC.

Drain the water, place the carrots in the glass and set 1 minute on speed 10. Remove from the glass and set aside.

In the clean and dry glass, insert the mixer on the blade.

Separate the yolks from the whites.

Place the egg yolks, sugar and orange zest in the bowl and set for 5 minutes at speed 5.

Remove the mixer, add the carrot puree and flour and set for 1 minute at speed 4. Remove from the bowl and set aside.

In the clean, dry bowl, insert the mixer onto the blade.
9.
Add the egg whites and salt and set for 6 minutes at speed 4.
10.
Using the spatula, carefully fold the egg whites into the carrot mixture and pour into a rectangular baking tray greased with butter and lined with baking paper and bake for 20 minutes.
11.
Immediately turn out onto a cloth sprinkled with sugar and carefully roll up lengthwise.
12.
Place on a plate, let cool and serve.
