Recipe for Squid and Shrimp Rice Malandro
Ingredients
120 g onion
3 cloves garlic
330 g chopped tomatoes (canned)
65 g red pepper
20 g coriander
40 g olive oil
1 bay leaf
400 g cleaned squid (defrosted)
100 g white wine
50 g tomato pulp
Salt to taste
750 g hot water
250 g shrimp meat
Chilled pepper to taste
250 g long rice
Preparation
1.
Place the onion, garlic cloves, tomato, pepper, 10 g coriander, olive oil in the bowl and press the Crush function.

Add the bay leaf and sauté for 7 minutes at 120ºC on speed 2.
3.
Add the drained and sliced squid, the white wine, the tomato pulp, and salt to taste, and cook for 30 minutes at 100ºC on speed 1 with reverse rotation.
4.
Add the hot water, the shrimp, and the chili to taste, and cook for 3 minutes at 100ºC on speed 1 with reverse rotation.
5.
Add the salt, add the rice, mix with the spatula, and cook for 18 minutes at 100ºC on speed 1 with reverse rotation. Serve in a bowl with the remaining chopped coriander.
