 How to cook asparagus

400 g asparagus

Preparation


Clean the asparagus. Cut off the base (the white part). Also remove the protrusions (bubbles) along the stem.

Tie the asparagus with a string (suitable for cooking). In a pan with cold water, place them vertically with the heads facing up.

Once boiling, wait between 8 to 15 minutes for them to cook (the time will depend on the size and thickness of the asparagus).

Once cooked, place them immediately in a bowl with ice water to maintain their green color and firmness. They are ready!
