Delicious Recipe for Rice, Beans, Ground Beef with Banana and Kale Farofa
Ingredients
Ground Beef with Banana:
1 kg of lean ground beef
2 tablespoons of canola oil
1 small chopped onion
4 cloves of crushed garlic
1 small chopped tomato
parsley basil to taste
2 dessert spoons of paprika
1 coffee spoon of saffron
salt, oregano and black pepper to taste
2 small bananas, chopped into slices
Kale Farofa:
2 tablespoons of lard
3 cloves of minced garlic
1 chopped onion
1 cup (tea) of diced bacon
5 finely chopped kale leaves
salt to taste
1/2 cup (tea) of coarse raw cassava flour
1/2 cup (tea) of corn flour
Preparation
Ground Beef with Banana
Heat the oil and fry the meat until golden brown. Add the onion and garlic, let it fry, season with the parsley, paprika, salt, oregano and pepper, stir well, add the tomato and let it sauté well for about 10 minutes. Add the sliced banana, mix well and leave on low heat for another 5 minutes, turn off and serve.
Kale Farofa
In a pan, over medium heat, add the lard, garlic and onion and fry until lightly browned. Add the bacon and fry until golden brown. Add the kale, salt and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the mixed flours, stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.
