Delicious Baked Cauliflower Tray
Ingredients
1 cauliflower
olive oil to taste
salt to taste
80 g butter
4 tablespoons flour
400 ml milk
400 ml light cream
200 g grated gouda cheese
nutmeg to taste
1 teaspoon oregano
Preparation
1.
• Arrange the cauliflower florets in a bowl, drizzle with a generous drizzle of olive oil and season with salt.
2.
• Place them on a baking tray, cover them with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 220ºC for about 25 minutes.
3.
• Remove them and set aside.
4.
• In a medium saucepan, melt the butter, add the flour and mix well until it begins to brown.
5.
• Reduce the heat to low and gradually add the milk and cream,
alternately, until you obtain a creamy, lump-free sauce.
6.
• Cover the roasted florets with this sauce and the Gouda cheese.
7.
• Season with nutmeg and oregano and bake for about 30 minutes
or until completely browned.
