Banoffee, banana and caramel pie recipe
Ingredients
250 g cinnamon biscuits
200 g butter
4 small bananas
100 g brown sugar
400 g condensed milk
200 ml liquid cream
a few squares of dark chocolate
Preparation
Step 1 - Crush the cinnamon biscuits and add 100 g melted butter. Mix.
Step 2 - Place baking paper/butter on the bottom of a springform pan. Arrange the cinnamon biscuit mixture on the bottom to form the tart base.
Cut two bananas into slices and arrange on the base. Place in the refrigerator.
Step 3 - Prepare the caramel:
Melt 100 g butter in a frying pan and add the brown sugar. When the sugar has melted, add the condensed milk.
Step 4 - Mix and bring to the boil. Then pour over the bananas in the ring mold and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 5 - When cold, remove from the mold. Be careful, this step is delicate.
Arrange sliced bananas on top.
Step 6 - Beat the cream (very cold and with 30% mg) until it forms whipped cream. Spread over the cake.
Step 7 - Grate pieces of chocolate and sprinkle over the whipped cream.
Step 8 - Serve!
