Ingredients:


500g wheat flour

300ml warm water

15g fresh yeast

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon sugar

100g sausage cut into small pieces

Olive oil for greasing





Preparation:


Dissolve the yeast in the warm water along with the sugar and let it sit for 10 minutes, until it foams.

In a large bowl, place the flour and salt. Add the yeast and water mixture little by little, mixing with your hands or a wooden spoon until a homogeneous dough forms.

Knead the dough for approximately 10 minutes, until it is elastic and soft. If necessary, add more flour.

Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

After resting, open the dough with your hands, forming a rectangle. Spread the pieces of chorizo ​​evenly over the dough.

Roll the dough like a Swiss roll and shape into a loaf. Place in a greased baking dish and let rest for another 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake the bread for about 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and firm to the touch.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
