Pineapple cake recipe 🍍🍍🍍

Ingredients:


1 can of pineapple in syrup (reserve the syrup)

3 eggs

2 cups of sugar

2 cups of wheat flour

1 tablespoon of baking powder

100g of melted butter

1/2 cup of milk

Cherries in syrup (optional, for decoration)





Preparation method:


Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking pan with butter and line with parchment paper.

Place the pineapple slices on the bottom of the pan and, if you want, add a cherry in the center of each slice.

In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until a light and fluffy mixture forms.

Add the melted butter and milk to the mixture.

Gradually add the wheat flour and baking powder, stirring gently until the mixture is smooth.

Pour the mixture over the pineapple slices and bake for about 40 minutes or until the cake is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Unmold and drizzle with a little pineapple syrup to make the cake even more moist.
