Orange Cake 🍊🍊


Ingredients:


3 eggs

1 cup orange juice (preferably natural)

1/2 cup oil

2 cups sugar

2 cups wheat flour

1 tablespoon baking powder


Topping (optional):


Juice of 1 orange

1/2 cup sugar





Preparation:


Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a round pan with butter and flour.

In a blender, beat the eggs, orange juice and oil until smooth.

In a bowl, mix the sugar and flour. Gradually add the liquid mixture, stirring with a whisk.

Finally, gently incorporate the yeast.

Pour the batter into the pan and bake for approximately 35 to 40 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and passes the toothpick test.

For the topping, mix the orange juice and sugar in a pan and heat until it forms a syrup. Pour over the still warm cake.

Perfect for that afternoon coffee!
