7-Color Cake Recipe 🍰🍰🍰


Ingredients:


500g wheat flour

400g sugar

250g unsalted butter (room temperature)

5 eggs

1 cup milk

1 tablespoon baking powder

Vanilla essence to taste

Food coloring gel (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet)






Preparation:


Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease seven 20 cm round cake pans or use a removable bottom pan to bake one layer at a time.


Prepare the basic batter: Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one by one, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla essence.


Mix in the flour and milk: Add the sifted flour and baking powder alternately with the milk, mixing gently until you have a smooth batter.


Divide the batter: Separate the batter into seven equal bowls and add a few drops of food coloring to each one, mixing until you achieve the desired color for each layer.


Bake the layers: Pour the batter of each color into separate pans and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.


Assemble the cake: Start with the red layer at the bottom, cover with a little frosting of your choice (whipped cream, cream cheese, or white chocolate ganache work well) and repeat with the other layers in the order of the colors of the rainbow.


Finish: Cover the cake with the frosting of your choice, smooth it out well, and decorate with sprinkles or edible glitter.


This cake will be the highlight of any party!
