Chicken in the Oven πŸŽ„πŸ—πŸŽ…πŸŽ…


Ingredients


1 chicken

180 g of ham

180 g bacon

1 chorizo

2 small onions

2 cubes of Chicken Stock

150 ml of olive oil

salt q.s.

pepper q.b.

a sprig of parsley





Preparation of chicken in the oven


Start by cleaning the chicken very well. Cook the whole chicken together with 100g ham, 100g bacon, 1 onion cut into halves and half the chorizo in water seasoned with salt and chicken broth.

Let it cook over moderate heat, with the water covering the bird, until it is cooked.

When the chicken is cooked, remove and strain the broth. Break the chicken into large pieces and place on a tray.

Heat the oil with the chopped onion. Cut the remaining chorizo into thin slices and reserve some for decoration.

Cut the 80g of bacon into cubes and chop the 80g of ham more finely. Add the bacon, chorizo and ham to the onion mixture and let it cook for about 3 to 4 minutes.

Remove and baste the chicken with the mixture. Place the chicken in a preheated oven at 180ΒΊC until it browns a little.

Remove and sprinkle with chopped parsley and decorate with the remaining slices of chorizo that you reserved. Serve with rice prepared with the broth you reserved from cooking the chicken.
