Peanut Cookie Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup of roasted and ground peanuts (unsalted)
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 pinch of salt
Optional: chocolate chips or orange zest for a special touch
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased with butter.
In a large bowl, mix the ground peanuts and sugar until well incorporated.
Add the egg and mix well until you get a homogeneous dough. Add the baking powder and salt, mixing again until all the ingredients are well distributed.
Shape the cookies with your hands, forming small balls and flatten them slightly. Place them on the baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden on the edges. Be careful not to overbake them, as they may become hard.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before transferring to a cooling rack.
These cookies are perfect with a fresh cup of coffee, and the aroma of peanuts will fill your home as they bake!
