Garlic and Parsley Bread Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups of wheat flour
1 cup of warm water
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of dry yeast
3 cloves of minced garlic
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 cup of chopped fresh parsley
Melted butter for brushing
Preparation
Fermentation: In a bowl, mix the warm water, sugar and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes until it forms a foam.
Preparing the Dough: Add the flour and salt little by little, mixing until you get a homogeneous dough. Knead for about 10 minutes until the dough is soft and elastic.
Rest the Dough: Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest in a warm place for approximately 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
Incorporating the Garlic and Parsley: After resting, add the garlic, parsley and olive oil to the dough. Mix well to distribute the ingredients evenly.
Shaping: Shape the bread into the desired shape and place in a greased pan. Make light cuts on the surface to make the bread more attractive.
Final Rest: Let the dough rest for another 30 minutes.
Baking: Preheat the oven to 200°C. Brush the bread with melted butter and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the bread is golden brown.
Final Rest: Remove from the oven and brush with more butter to make it even more delicious.
