 Scotch Eggs Recipe or Scottish Breaded Egg


Today we are going to travel to Scotland thanks to the traditional Scottish breaded eggs. Made with ground beef and breaded in breadcrumbs.


Ingredients


4 eggs

250 g minced beef

1 small onion

1 clove of garlic

1 teaspoon of mustard

salt

black pepper

flour

breadcrumbs (breadcrumbs)

2 beaten eggs

oil for frying





Preparation


Boil the eggs for about 8 minutes in boiling water, until they are hard. Set them aside.

Mix the ground beef with the finely chopped onion, the garlic in pieces and the mustard. Salt and pepper to taste.

Peel the boiled eggs and coat each one in flour.

Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal parts and make 4 small balls. Take each ball and flatten/open it with your hand.


In the center, place the boiled and floured egg and wrap it with the meat, forming a ball. Then, coat it in the beaten egg and finally in the breadcrumbs (breadcrumbs).


Fry them for about 5 minutes.


Your Scotch eggs are ready to be served!
